话题: Minor bug in new build b7512
"-Right-Click cog in quick filter/color filter editor to move a rule up or down"

The Right-Click works fine in the Quick Filters, but, is not working in the Color Filters.

I'm on a M1 Mac btw, specs below
Cheers.

My Systems Specs;
Main - M1 MacBook Pro (14-inch, 2022), Apple Silicon M1 Pro, 16gb, 500 gb SSD, macOS Ventura 13.3, VirtualDJ v2023-m b7512.

I'm going to update my 2018 15" Intel Mac and try it on there, will report back.

OK. I've updated my 2018 Bootcamped 15" Mac to Ventura 13.3 and I've also updated the Bootcamped Windows 10 to the latest version. Specs below.

Unfortunately, they are both experiencing the same behaviour as my M1 Mac. The Right-Click on the cog in Quick Filters works fine on both, but, the Right-Click on the Color Filters is not working on both Mac & Windows versions.

Systems Specs;
Backup - MacBook Pro 15-inch 2018 (Touch Bar), 2.9 GHz Intel Core i7, 16gb 2133 MHz LPDDR3 Memory, Radeon Pro 560 4096 MB, Intel HD Graphics 630 n1536 MB, macOS Ventura 13.3, 500gb SSD. NTFS for Windows installed. VirtualDJ 2023-i b7512.

Bootcamped with Windows 10 Pro Vers. 22H2 x64bit.
VirtualDJ 2023-i b7512.

OK, it's way past my bedtime now at 5am here in the UK 🤣, goodnight. 😴

@Les

I can verify that also on Win 10 7512, that the right click menu on the cog, moving color filters up/down does NOT exist (same as left click).

And the right click menu for moving quick filters up/down exists and works well.

Win 10
7512

SideNote:
Be aware when moving quick filters that if they are in any scripts, (ie quick_filter 5) that script will need to have its number changed (quick_filter 4) to reference the same set of actions, after a move up.

After creating a list of 12 color filters with their many criteria, I would like to be able to change the priority order by moving them up or down without having to recreate the list again from scratch.

@Les

You may be able to use the: settings > options > colorRules

to see/save your current Color Rules list.

@IIDEEJAYII Yes, I did that thanks. My last color rule was for tunes processed through Platinum Notes as they have _PN attached to the Title. The _PN doesn't show in the browser and being the lowest priority was intermittent at changing the color. I wanted it to have a higher priority by moving it to the top of the list. A bit of cut 'n' paste did the job. I dunno how much of a difference it will make. 🤷‍♂️
