话题: Phase
So I’m using Phase and a RANE 72, I’m using USB B on the 72 and friend is using USB A with SDJ.

We got everything hooked up and working but the timecode signal keeps switching to the SERATO noisemap.

Why does it keep switching within VDJ??

I’m using a MacBook Pro M1 , everything is updated (laptop, software, firmware) running Big Sur.

Any help would be greatly appreciated....

And why does this bother you ?
Most likely VDJ auto-detects the audio DVS signal from the Phase as Serato Noisemap

It bothers me because I loose control and the timecodes no longer respond to my movements.

Thus midset I have to open the config and recalibrate the signal.

So do I use the Serato noisemap or the Phase noisemap??

I would think since I’m using “Phase” that’s what I would use??

Both should work, but maybe the "Phase" Noisemap is not part of the auto-detection and auto-changes on re-connections.
Try to ..
1. Delete the ONINIT and ONEXIT actions from the factory default mapping of the Phase (from MAPPING tab of VDJ Settings)
2. Restart VDJ , auto-calibrate. Most likely VDJ will auto-detect the Serato noisemap.

See if with the above you lose DVS signal

Ok so it only switched 1 time last night and I had a crash.

Im fine with the one switch as Ive mapped a key to switch it back so were good there for now.

But can you see what caused the crash??
