话题: Setting poi bpm above 240
What is the best way to do this? I know you can easily change track bpm via script or the tag editor, but the only way I've found to change it for a poi is through closing virtualdj and editing the database manually, which leads to an error claiming the database is corrupted, and gives an option to "fix" it, whatever either of those mean, but still at least that lets me fix the pois. Is there away to do this without this error? Should I use a hex editor or something instead of notepad?

Just want to change the BPM?
Try the BPM editor perhaps

bpm editor doesn't allow >240

say a 300bpm track I let it scan as 150, then I set_bpm 200%

The bpm editor doesn't allow anything over 240 bpm and as I mentioned already, set_bpm only modifies the track bpm, which means it only modifies one poi. That makes it useless for any track that requires more than one bpm value above 240

well, maybe it's up for debate weher i "mentioned" it since i didn't specify what sorta script i was talking about but the set_bpm thing was it
or is there a way to get set_bpm to modify more than just the one main bpm value?
