Happy New Year To All !!
I have the latest version of Virtual Dj and am a pro subscriber. I have just bought a PIONER DDJ SR2, have set up everything correctly and am using windows 10 with the latest drivers, updates and firmware installed .
I tried out serato as it came with the controller but I dont like it as Im used to Virtual DJ . The problem I'm having is when I use the controller with Virtual DJ the sound is quite distorted and I cant turn the volume levels up as it gets worse .
Never had this problem before wondered if anybody had any suggestions ?

usually any distortion / crackles / pops in sound is due to the audio buffer on the driver running dry..
The fix is setting the buffer higher. At the SR2 asio setting, try set the latency to 256 samples (or 512 if needed).

I have the same crackling sounds from my headphones preview. I have a DDJ-SR2 also but I am using a Mac. Any solutions to getting rid of this noise with my setup?
