Unlike MP3, there doesn't appear to be a standard - like ID3 - for MP4's.
I use MediaMonkey to tag my MP4's and everything seems to be found OK, but I was wondering if it was possible to know which tags VDJ looks for and if these are XMP properties.
I was looking to see if there was a BPM property/tag and whether VDJ wrote back to it or not.
Cheers,
Roy

I don't think there's a complete list at the moment, but most of the fields shown in the tag editor can be read and written to mp4 files.
Most fields are more or less standardized in the mp4 container.

Is there a gain tag somewhere for mp4s so i can manually adjust super low tracks?

Not that I'm aware of. The audio in the MP4 container can be various different types for example AAC, MP3 etc.
You can re-encode with handbrake and up the gain as part of that process.

If you use autogain within VirtualDJ you can still make adjustments to the gain in the tag editor.
