Recently got a NS6ii and tried to run dual laptops leading to 1 of 2 problems happening. Both are macs running the most updated versions of VDJ8 as of two weeks ago.
Problem 1) It doesn't recognize PC2 at all. Hitting Cues or Play doesn't work.
Problem 2) When I finally figured out how to shift from PC1 to PC2, When i switch back to PC1 on one side the music will play over no matter where the crossfader is.
Example PC1 is playing on Deck 1 and crossfader is already to the left (so only Deck 1 on PC1 is heard and Deck 2 on PC1 isn't) I switch to PC2 on deck 2 then back to PC1 and suddenly PC1 deck 2 is being heard as if the crossfader is in the middle.
I made sure deck 1 and deck 2 are not on thru and on A and B respectively. Both Macs run find on VDJ8 with the NS6II alone fine. Only occurs with Dual PC. Swapped the USBs for both as well.
Is this feature only built to work with Serato?
