i am getting a muffled sound from my speakers after a few hrs of playing (ive been using the same equipment for a few yrs now and never had this problem). the same sound is coming through my headphones as well which leads me to beleive it is coming from my contoller (hercules rmx2) , the program (virtualdj 8) , or my mac . after about 15 mins of this muffled sound i switched to new amp wires which did not work . I then shut off the contoller and laptop/virtuadj program , turned everything back on a few minutes later and the muffled sound was gone ...any suggestions on how to fix this so it doesnt happen again

Refreshing the audio config usually clears this up but that's a reactionary fix, best run latencymon while practising see what that tells you.
