Hi all.
I hope you can help me...
I bought VDJ Pro many years ago to do parties and pirate radio here in Brighton (uk) and gave that up to move and things sort ov slid a bit and I haven’t mixed with my RMX for a few years..! How time just whizzes past!!
Anyway. I went to use my RMX the other day and couldn’t get the controller to work at all.. the screen loaded but no action from the controller did anything...
Do I need to update drivers etc and how can I do that..
I will probably remember how to do it if someone just points me in the right direction...

Is the computer you're using now the same one that you had when the RMX last worked, or is it a new one?

Should work fine but no...
Never that simple is it!!
Im pretty sure I need to update the software... I’m just not sure if I can “skip” to the most recent update or if I have to go through each one to catch up as it were...

Ok so... I’ve updated the laptop software...
When I plug the rmx in, I get an option to use the old version or the new one...
The skin I use stays but nothing happens...
In the RMX the lights all flash and don’t stop flashing...
Then they just went off...
Still nothing...

There are sometimes problems with Hercules drivers and old controllers, no need to launch VDJ
i.e.: I got the Mk4 flashing with 2018-HDJS_x and 4-MX returns back to 44.1 randomly at start
with the rmx & Mk4 2016_HDJS.3 is working ASIO returns back to 44.1 randomly at start
In addition, the driver is NOT working properly with usb3 and old ones may need install for every USB port

Ididn't try 2019_HDJS as there is no change in old drivers in reports
try to uninstall Hercules recent driver and go back to older one
Another issue i got in old rmx2 was usb socket got unsolered

The rmx ASIO soundcard doesnt seem to be working....
