I'm not sure if any of these were suggested already. A search box over by sidelist/automix area and also keep the highlighted song in center view still when you press any of the sort tabs.

A search box for sideview lists or an option to get search result from active sideview in top of search results as for current folder - searchInSideview as searchInFolder
