changing over to a new laptop and all the last played song data is missing on the new machine. I know its not a big thing but do like that info. Any idea what the file is called that holds all the last played data is? I have copied the history over and that is ok. Also is it possible to transfer over cue points

Just copy over the whole Documents> VirtualDJ folder. It's that simple.

Also make sure on your new machine the files are stored on the same drive letter and location.

It's the database that holds your lastplayed info among with your hotcues and other stuff

If you are using an external drive you should have not any issues on your new machine to see that info as for the biggest part the database is designed to be portable.

If you are using an internal drive then you must copy the database from your old computer to the new one.

For the database to work properly on the new computer your media files need to be on the same location they were on your old computer.
For this, there's a catch:
"Desktop", "Documents", "Music" and "Videos" folders are SPECIAL folders and their true location varies from system to system.
That's because the USERNAME you have on each computer takes part into the full filepath of those folders

For instance, "Desktop" is actually:
C:\Users\USERNAME\Desktop
while "Music" is actually:
C:\Users\USERNAME\Music

Depending on where your media files were stored on your previous computer you may need to adjust their location on the new computer accordingly.

Finally, if your media files are stored on a second drive (not the system drive) like D: then all you have to do is to copy the "VirtualDJ" folder that's located on the root of the old D: drive to the same location on the new computer.
