Ive read a lot of material on backup but still having issues. Heres what i have current version of vdj8 running on windows 10 laptop and also windows 7 desktop. All music is on externals with same structures and names. ive created a variety of favorite folders on desktop and want to place them on my windows 10 laptop.
Ive copied the entire virtualdj folder from the desktop and copied it over to the laptop ,but the favourites are there but missing a pile of info. there are no issues with the actual songs being on drive,just the favourite folder.
I wonder if its a result of not deleting all the old structure and then paste? Very confused sure wish this was more of an automated process!
For example im looking at a subfolder called schools both on backup and laptop and they look the same but songs are not there when i open it
