I have just downloaded virtual DJ 8 and when I load a song, the rhythm viewer is one solid colour. I can't see the waves anywhere. How do I fix this problem?

Try with the VirtualDJ 8 "Default" skin. Most likely you are using a version 7 (or earlier) skin on Mac.
