I FINALLY got enough money to buy Virtual DJ! After 2 years of uninstalling and re-installing to get rid of the ads for a short period of time, will this get rid of them? I ask this, because I don't have internet at home, and if it can't detect that I have a license, will it still show the ads? Also, will my tags have to be redone anytime an update occurs? Everytime I re-installed the program, I always had to redo all my tags before.

You need to connect once to verify your licence at login. Even taking your laptop to McDonalds and using the free wifi will work. Once logged in it will enable Pro features and the ads will disappear permanently.
At least you've found it's no fun playing around with free or cracked software (eventually)

As long as you are logged in, you won't have any problems. Meaning you only have to close VDJ, not log off. If you use on a third machine, it will log you off of one of the others. Since you don't have internet access, make sure your gig machine is logged on before you go to a gig. I know you said you were having a time trying to get work, but I just wanted you to be aware.
