I'm trying to figure out the correct configuration to run the HC4500 as decks 1 and 2 and 2 S1200's as decks 3 and 4. I've tried so many things but I still get Decks 1 and 2 being controlled by the S1200s and 3 and 4 by the HC4500 but all of the sound coming out of CH 1&2 and 3&4 of the HC4500.
Here's what I'd like to get to:
Deck 1 HC4500 ch1&2
Deck 2 HC4500 ch3&4
Deck 3 S1200 using it's own soundcard (ch5&6?)
Deck 4 S1200 using it's own soundcard (ch7&8?)
This way I can cue up deck 3 while deck 1 is playing and same for decks 2 & 4. Right now if deck 1 is playing I can only cue deck 2 and 4.
All firmware is up to date, VDJ build is v8.2 b3678, Win10

What options do you get in the sound cards drop-down list ?
Are you using the Denon ASIO driver ?
Not sure if the Denon ASIO driver can combine the sound cards of more than 1 units. If it does, then Chans 5,6 and 7,8 seem logic.
If not, then Chans 1,2 for both S1200 are probably correct, but you may need to use the WASAPI instead of the Denon ASIO, in case there is a conflict or the Denon driver only allows one sound-card to be used.
