Brand new user to Virtual DJ, at home party enthusiast only. After install, I watched a few tuturial videos and I connected my external Hard Drive, 4 TB. It has my MP3 music files and Karaoke files. I opened my VDJ and clicked on my external hard drive, opened my music file in that hard drive, and right clicked on the file. I then selected to "Add to search DB". It is now Browsing Tags. When it finishes Browsing Tags, will all of these tags be saved in VDJ's memory or do I have to do that every time I remove my external hard drive or power down my laptop?

Once you add all your music to the database (add to db) then VDJ will save all the information. The database is kept in the virtual dj folder which is located in your external hard drive.

Additionally you should analyse your tracks aswell.
