This is odd. Tried using my backup laptop tonight for a change/test, and found the hot cues were laggy on deck A. All fine on the main laptop, and all fine on deck 2.
Decrepit old Denon HC4500 controller and haven't had this sort of issue before.
Not even sure where to start looking if it's a setting I need to adjust. The fact it's only one ONE deck makes no sense. :(

make sure the smart settings are the same for both decks
just type smart in to the search on top of options they should all be at the top
set it the same as the deck you think is fine for both
