hey. i wanted to know is there some way i can apply smart crates to a specific music folder instead of my primary music folder where i keep my dj music?

A bit confused..."Smart Crates" ?
Smart Crates are generated from Serato software, not VirtualDJ
Smart Crates are not supported from VirtualDJ (will not be visible in the "Crates" special folder), only "simple" Crates
Unless by "Smart Crates" you mean something else, which you need to specify with a VirtualDJ term/name.

Do we have any user who got access to your Serato smart Crates in VDJ? Does VDJ have any way of organizing or filters the music by BPM or Key?

It's called filter folders .... It's all outlined in the manual
