I also have the Mixtrack Pro 3......
The sampler pads on my vdj wont play all of the samples i added , so id like to get this midi controller to use as a sampler...
Will VDJ recognize it and allow its sounds to come through VDJ ?

Supported controllers are listed here http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/VirtualDJ8%20Controllers.html
If it's not listed then it will still work, but you will have to manually map it.
Assigning pads to play samples is easy, but if you want LEDs to light up and so on, then it gets much more complex. That requires a definition file.
The MPD218 doesn't make any sound. The sounds triggered by the pads will come from VDJ.

I just recieved the Akai Professional MPD218.....and its not listed on the list of controllers , in fact , the MPD series is not listed.
So , where do i go now ?
