It would be nice to have a version 2 of this which works like Piano Play the function available on DDJ-REV5

Basically it allows you to play a selected cue on 16 pads configured like a Piano keyboard. In that function you can select both the cue you want to use and the scale ftom a list of preset scales.

You select the Cue with SHIFT+PAD 1 to 8
If not using a controller with SHIFT you can assign some button to do shift action
And medications can be done to be able to select up to 16 Hotcues too

Thanks! So I can configure up to 16 pads , select cue and a preset scale? Or just one scale which I have to configure every of the 16 pads with the desired semitone difference? In Piano Play once i selected the cue point, the left most pad is root key then I have the other pads configured with the pad (key difference) depending on the scale (major minor pentatonic etc)

Have a "Piano Play" pads page same as the REV5 that will upload soon, but you need 16 pads for it like this ..
.. so not very suitable for controllers usually having 8 pads. The REV5 is a different story, has a firmware feature that makes the pads of the other side to work on the same Deck the mode is called from.

I always bring my DDJ-XP2 during my djset I can manage up to 16 pads for deck at once!
