Hello
When I direct the audio output of the sampler to the master
I also hear the sampler in the headphones
and it is disturbed me to work (with the headphones)
Master is what audience hears.
Headphones (PFL) is what the DJ hear.
Normally the DJ prepare the next mix or listen others songs in the browser,
Samplers are normally use to the played song, to the audience, for rich the sound,
Therefore playing the sampler in the headphones is only disturbing the DJ while he is preparing
next mix or listen to automix editor (it is even not sync to the headphones)
in the Virtual DJ you can Choose !!! where the Sampler output will be direct to ! (Look at the previous picture I sent)
You can choose: master, deck 1, deck 2 , and also headphones
it make no sense to have the ability to choose but to get something different from what you choose
If I choose master it has to be only master (not also headphones)
Only if I choose headphones it has to be heard on the headphones

I remember posting about this same issue! I too find it annoying that the sampler sounds come through the headphones. There should be an option to disable this.

Have the same issue and I was the following:

"IF you dont want the Sampler to go through your Headphones, your only chance is to assign Sampler to one of the 4 available decks.
So from Sampler Options-->Audio Output, choose e.g. Deck 4 and then control the Sampler Volume with Deck 4 Volume Fader, apply EQ, choose to prelisten with deck 4 PFL, etc."

If you guys come up with something please let us know, especially when you have a controller that have its dedicated sampler volume.

Hi
Thank you
I am working with two decks mixing from one to each other, song after song
mainly with automix but edit the mixes in the automix editor
therfore I cannot choose one deck for sampler output because it will not be heard in the other deck while playing

but nevertheless !!!
I think we should not bypass a bug or enforce doing solution that cause another problems

this is obviously a BUG:
have the ability to choose but to get something different from what you choose
If I choose master it has to be only master (not also headphones)
if I choose headphones, deck A deck B, etc... it has to be heard on what I choose

I think we should direct this problem to Virtual DJ stuff so they will fix it !
I did that, opened a ticket and after couple of explanation and corresponding they ask me to check here
