i just bought a 2nd-hand Hercules DJ Control Steel.
The software for Virtual DJ, which was a part of the controller, is very old (5), so it doenst work on my Mac OS El Capitan.
In my VDJ-Account i entered the Licence-Key, and only got the old Download for Version 5. By searching for a newer version, i first installed Version 8 free, entered the licence-key, and it didn´t work by telling me the key is only for version 7.
i installed the free version for version 7. therefor it seems you can only enter the Licence-Key online (in your account) and not in the programm itself. (witch is possible in Version 8).
And here comes the strange thing: when i start the programm it is telling me, that there was my controller detected, but i have not the pro version, so the connection to the controller will stop in 10 minutes. i stops in 2 minutes :D
it obviously doesn´t recognise my lizenz-key. Does somebody know it i have to buy a new licence-key or if there is any possibility to get a compatible one with the old licence i got?
