The controller mapping for my Behringer controller in version 7 had to be changed a lot to work in version 8. That said, can the "mappers" folder have two files for the same controller? ..while I'm transitioning from 7 to 8.
Like Behringer CMD-DC1 v7 and Behringer CMD-DC1 v8 in the mappers folder?

You can have multiple mappers per controller on your "Mappers" folder but only one of them can be used at a time.
However, please note: There are two reasons why the mapping of your device changed between V7 and V8:
1) Because a lot of script codes and actions have changed between the two versions, and
2) In order to support the new feature set of VirtualDj 8.
This means that if you copy your old mapper most likely a lot of it's functions won't work as expected due to the changes made in VDJ Script language.

Yep, found that out. :-( Had to change a bunch of controller scripting and yesterday almost all of my filtered folder definitions.
I'm moving over one bit at a time till I'm comfortable to switch entirely, so I need both mappers in the folder for a little while.
