Please i need your help changing the default mapper of Hercules Dj Control
Steel ! I have managed to do some things but i really need your help with making more advanced settings .
The things i want to change are :
1 : I want the gain know to change to filter when i press the shift button and when turn it off to be gain again .
2 : I want while i press the shift and then i press a button to do sonething different from whaf it does when i turn the shift button on and off . The rest i can do it my self

You can only change the mapping with a pro / infinity version of VDJ.
But here you go:
Most controller mappings have the shift knob mapped as a variable named $shift.
So just try the following and map your buttons and knob like this.
For the filter/ gain:
$shift ? filter : gain
Other knobs:
$shift ? ActionWithShift : ActionWithoutShift
