I bought a VDJ7 pro license with the understanding that I am to receive free software updates/upgrades, Now I am trying the VDJ8 and I am deciding to use it in my gigs, the license I bought now won't apply to VDJ8.....I thought software updates/upgrades are free?

With V8 you DL the free version and log in to the software to access the pro bits.

You use your forum login name and password in V8, not a license code like 7.
