System freezes and then crashes when going from video back to audio. Windows closes the program out. How do I get this to stop?

So, only slideshow? Maybe you have a bad file in that folder. Try another folder of pictures, and see if it still happens. Are you using the latest public version?

Also try the other options, and make sure they work fine, milkdrop, text, title. Put a mixture of audio and video tracks in automix, and let it run awhile.

By "current" version you mean the public build 2139 ? Can you try with the Beta build 2162 ? Some bugs related to your issue have been fixed if not mistaken.

My effect tab would close out, not instantly anymore, happens when switching between video and audio a few times.
