I got pushed a new version earlier, so not sure if this problem is connected to that, but I click on the Virtual icon, the program starts to load, then boom, without further warning it just closes. Screen never appears, It just doesn't open. Takes about 15 seconds for it to decide this. If the mixer is off I will get the asio warning bubble right before it closes.
Just reinstalled. Still nothing. So, officially, what the?!? :-)

try to delete the settings.xml file from Documents/VirtualDj folder and then re-launch. No issues here with any of the updates.

It's all good. Tracked it down. Microsoft pushed an update today (or at least one my system saw today). Ran System Restore and everything is humming along nicely again.

Would be interesting to know what exactly causes VDJ to crash instantly.
I read about that frequently and I had that happening on a virtual machine myself.
Never found out what is causing the crash. I thought it is maybe the VM, so I never tried again.
But other people don't use VMs and can't open VDJ because of this happening.
