Topic: Slip mode & changing loop lengths

I asked before (possibly incoherently, I usually do stuff like that) (I ask too many questions) but if you have slip mode on and put it in a loop, allow it to play (let's say 32) and if you change the loop size, VDJ forgets the 32 beats already accrued and starts the slip beat count again from zero.

Is this by design? I can't figure out really why you would want this

Not sure if its by design, it doesnt seem reasonable to me either.

Thanks for the reply djdad, could you update (when known) if the mentioned behavior is intended.
If it is I've already got a loopRoll effect based work around (particularly for loops >4 beats)
 
Bump on this one specifically for djdad or other technicians; Is this behavior intended?
