OK, Making some progress. The latest update now recognizes my Hercules RMX controller and most everything works correctly.
The one thing I am fighting is the "Source" button. On VDJ7, each press of the button would toggle between the song loaded on the deck, then Line 1, then Line 2, and then back to the song.
This was the mapping : <map value="SOURCE" action="linein 1 ? linein 2 : linein 2 ? linein 2 : linein 1" />
For some reason, that mapping will NOT work on VDJ8. If I toggle the inputs manually (create a button for line 1 and another for line 2, then it works, but the single button three way toggle does not work as it did before.
Any suggestions?

In next updated build this will work :
linein 1 on ? linein 1 off & linein 2 on : linein 2 on ? linein 2 off : linein 1 on
