If I am at the beginning of a track I can scrub backwards endlessly even though the original mp3 has no silence at the beginning

UPDATE....its more like 10 seconds of Silence....but still should that be like that?

I have only 5 seconds of silence before each track. This is probably for better scratching at the beginning of the track.
