话题: Suggestion For External USB Soundcard

I have a new HP laptop that I cannot get my old USB2 sound cards to work with. I tried a powered USB 2 hub, and they still wont work. They are generic sound cards, and I can't find manufacturer driver updates for them.


I am guessing that I need to buy a new USB sound card, and wondered if anyone has suggestions for something that will work with the newer USB3 connections. Using Windows 7, with i7 processor, and 8 gigs of ram. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Has that been proven to work on a USB 3 connection?

As I understand it, failures of USB 2 devices to work from USB 3 sockets is more to do with the chip set in the computer than the audio interface itself.

I can not say for sure if it is usb 3 compatible. I have usb 2 on my laptop I can say it is a fantastic sound card I have had the gigaport ag (older model) since 2002 when I first started dj'ing with a laptop. never a pop or crackle. I will email them and see if it works with usb 3

I emailed and asked about usb 3 here is the reply
