话题: ssd worth it?

i bought a 2012 mbp 13" standrard 5400rpm hd. upgraded to 16gb ram. (no video just music)

i have most of my music on 3 seagate hard drives.


was contemplating going to ssd. thoughts?

It will speed up the boot time of the machine but won't make any discernable difference in playing your music.

thank you, thats what i thought. although a fast boot up time may be an asset if i have a laptop crash.

Install a7200 rpm hard drive put your music on the new drive your tracks will load faster. 7200 will make the battery drain a little faster. Ssd is nice for boot time I don't feel it's helpful for a Dj laptop IMHO
