Please could we have an adjustable start/stop like the brake effect on a CDJ without the need for using a plugin (similar to in serato DJ) in VDJ 8

for now you can just change your mapping for the play button to
effect 'vinylbrake' active
so you don't need to load and activate the effect.. that will wind up or down depending on the play state of your track.

Ok tried it and the vinyl brake plugin does work but doesnt give consistent results

There is something called " Pioneer CDJ 2000 Emulator" made by Chackl. its still beta...but i think u can ask him how he made the start/ stop action.

On DJ 7 you could adjust brake time and it would continue play after brake, but not on VDJ 8 why is that??
