When I'm mixing I use my hercules steel.
I also have a korg nano key which I have mapped for cue's and samples. this was all working fine, apart from one snag which was the sample volumes which i couldnt control without a slider/knob. So i bought an akai LPD8, as I needed a drum pad for FL studio, AND it has 8 assignable knobs.
I opened up VDJ, mapped the knobs to sample vol, and this worked fine....
Now I have a problem that when i Press one of the buttons on my control steel, It will for example, activate the effect mapped to it. but also play one of my samples..
The only thing I can think of is VDJ recognises the knobs/controls on the akai LPD8 as the same button on the control steel
HOWEVER. when i turn a knob for vol sample on the LPD8 it doesn't enable an effect

SOLVED!
The aksi lpd8 was on the same channelas the hercules steel, Iv changed the channels and no problems now
