Hay,
I am trying to hookup my map 7000 to vdj with no success. Has anyone done so and if so what are the setting's. I was able to get the controller to respond in the program but was unable to get the sound cards to work or get any meta data on the map it self.... please help

I think that controller is natively supported, you shouldn't have to create a mapping for it to work.

that is what i thought but the data will not go on the screen but the controller still will play and stop a song. Nor will the Sound work

I had to download MEP 7000 drivers from the pioneer pro dj website before I could plug in my MEP into virtual dj - it works perfect with the latest version 7.x

you have to config your sound setup with ASIO drivers.

Please excuse my ignorance but I would like to know whether the MEP-7000 connects directly through a power amp (mine is a Yamaha P5000S) to the speakers or whether I have to get a mixer to pass it through. Thanks for your help.

buonasera , posseggo un pioneer mep 7000 ed ho installata la versione virtual dj 8 specifica per il mep 7000 , il controller e' supportato ma vdj non vede la scheda audio del mep 7000 , quando vado nelle impostazioni vede solo la scheda interna del computer e quindi la musica esce dalle casse del computer , non posso usare il mixer esterno , il mio computer e' un mac pro, cosa posso fare? devo installare i driver asio? (io sapevo che per il mac non necessitano).
Ho anche una versione vdj 7 pro full e anche con questa stessa cosa non vede il mep 7000 come scheda audio
