Hi. I have a hercules 4mx. With the latest version of virtual dj pro. Since last week my pitch keeps drifting. I have to always nudge track B by like -0.2 or speed track A by +0.2 even if theyr the same bpm and i sync!! Let me just clarify, if i align two tracks so they are in beat they will slowly drift apart.
Its some sort of bug and im sure its not hardware problem cos i dont have pitch drift in Traktor Pro.
Ive tried resetting to factory setting in VDJ Pro but still theres a pitch drift. I also uninstalled VDJ Pro and then reinstalled but theres still pitch drift. I then uninstalled VDJ Pro and installed the LE version of virtual dj that came with my 4mx but still theres a pitch drift even in the LE version. WTF!!!
The only time i dont have to nudge if track A and track B are the same song. And VDJ Pro is analysing the BPM of my tracks correctly theyr just drifting for no reason. Ive researched this bug and i cant find an answer.
Please someone help me! I practically cant use VDJ. The constant pitch drift makes dj'ing impossible.

Does uninstalling VDJ via controlle panel (windows xp) remove all virtual dj files? If not. Where could i find the rest? I am already aware of the VDJ folder in my documents. I think if i could totally remove vdj from my system and install again the problem will go. As it seems the beat drift is apparent in VDJ Pro, VDJ Home and LE, even when only one of any one them is installed on my system if that makes sense...
So ye, any remaining VDJ files after uninstall via controll panel? Like i said i already know of the folder in my documents..

I have the same problem. I have ALL the latest drivers, updates, firmware, Virual DJ Pro 7, and I'm screwed right now. My pitch is going crazy, it's extremely annoying and this only started today after I did some OSX updates. I'm currently at Mac OS 10.6.8. I'm seriously thinking of going Traktor.

If it's moving erratically by itself then there is a hardware fault with it. Using another DJ software won't make any difference. Please see http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Slider%20on%20MIDI%20controller%20works%20erratically.html
If it is only changing each time you load a new song, then this is the default auto-pitch matching of VirtualDJ, which can be easily turned off. Please see our FAQ pages:
