My system:
Acer Aspire 7552G
Phenom II N950 2.1ghz
9gb Ram (3 slots, 2x4gb, 1x1gb)
1gb Dedicated Video Memory Radeon HD 6650m
Windows 7 x64 Home Premium fully updated
Solutions Attempted:
Roll Back Drivers: I cannot roll back drivers because Acer hasn't released any working drivers prior or after the ones that came preinstalled on the system, their method and idea behind that is that they don't want people upgrading drivers (figure that one out) and I have even found a way to force the latest CCC 11.11 to work with my system somehow but still am having the memory leak issues. I work on computers for a living and believe me when I say that it is the actual CCC 11.11 drivers working for me
Driver Versions Attempted after lots of work and fiddling with settings and forcing drivers:
8.713.3.0
8.783.2.0
8.850.0.0
8.911.0.0 <---Current with CCC 11.11
Doesn't matter what driver I use, I still get the buffer issue when hardware acceleration is enabled.
I have attempted the registry fix program by adjusting buffer sizes ranging from 128 to 256 to 500 to 512 to 1000 to 1024 and even attempted the full memory box ticked...I notice the memory usage in task manager changes but it still doesn't stop the system from coming up with the error message no matter how much/little it uses.
I have noticed once the program reaches maximum physical memory it seems to be allowed to use, one of two things start happening:
1. Videos start loading up very fast in the buffer while in the auto play playlist
2. I get the "not enough memory" error and I get no waveform and sometimes even get no video when I let one of those play without trying to clear the used memory or load a different track.
I have removed all startup programs, running programs, EVERYTHING that was stated to do by all tweaking guides to guarantee the system runs well, but alas I still am having problems. This is my dedicated DJing machine and I use it to DJ at a very important club. It's kind of embarrassing that my new machine doesn't run nearly as well as some of these 3-4 year old machines when it comes to playing video.
I understand one of the shows I do at the club is more of a performance where vdj is pushed to the limits with clips, video on one and audio on the other, fast switching of tracks, fading and video effects...but still the older systems are putting mine to shame and getting no errors. The only thing my system can do almost flawlessly is play videos in an auto playlist and even then about every 10-15 songs it tends to come up with the error message.
Only thing I have found to work is turning off hardware acceleration but I can't do that in the middle of a set because sometimes the video doesn't come back on until the program is reset and disabling it entirely ends up causing the video to freeze up after 2-3 tracks. Also I have attempted forcing it to use a single core instead of multiple and all that does is make the program unusable. it freezes constantly by doing that and that's not acceptable either.
All of my videos are legally acquired from a source that makes sure they are all mp4's with the same bitrates and the longest video I have in my collection is 8 minutes long and file sizes don't exceed 120 megs.
Anything else I'm missing in my description and what I've encountered?

Quick update that I just noticed:
Ok, I just tried some videos ripped from youtube just to listen to some stuff I got recently and wanted to hear and here is what I noticed...
Didn't matter the quality of the video, ranging from 480p to 1080i, They all played great! Memory issue doesn't show at all.
Both video formats are MP4 but that's where the similarities end
Youtube Video:
data rate ranging from 2995kbps to 5780 kbps
total bitrate ranging from 3148kbps to 5933kbps
Frame Rate: 23 frames/second
Audio Bit Rate: 152 kbps
Audio Sample Rate: 44khz
Legal Videos:
Data Rate: all around 3000kbps
total Bitrate: all around 3200kbps
Frame Rate: 30 frames/second
audio bit rate: 320 kbps
audio sample rate: 48khz
Maybe this will shed some light on the situation?

Update #2:
I used the registry editor and changed the Video FPS to match the FPS of the videos I was playing and it solved the leak. memory usage is constant now but it's still kinda high, BUT IT IS FIXED! You might want to include this in your solutions section.
Only real problem I'm having now is the fact anything with 320kbps bit rate audio loads kinda slow...any solution for that?

In the performances tab, look at the option for "48Hz conversion" and select "Fast resampling"
