Currently, the virtual folders has no connection with the VDJ database. If you've done your collection in some virtual folder and deleted or renamed in HD which a song is in this virtual folder, this song will be invalid. If you do not remember what the song was not physically deleted from your HD, it displays an error to put it on the deck.
A idea would be to create a command called "consistency check", similar to what has in Tracktor, so that the VDJ scan the hard drive in search of lost music and open a window with a short report with some options, such as: delete music, find in HD and relocate in the database.
For those with many virtual folders like me, this supplement would be very welcome. Today, the music in virtual folders are merely shortcuts and if the physical file is deleted, moved or renamed, these shortcuts have completely lost the link and therefore we must seek the physical file on the hard drive and pull back into the folder virtual. A somewhat boring work!

Or give each track in the DB a unique number/key. Then store that in the Virtual Folder definition so it always relates back to the original track.
