Im pretty good with beat matching...but for some reason when i mix old songs(soul) the beat match perfectly..for bout 5-10 seconds..then thurr goes the beat...so my question how do you keep the beats matched long enough to make a clean transition from one song to another?...I can keep on turn the wheel to keep it going but as soon as i stop..its goes off beat!

lol not all songs no matter HOW hard you try will match up and keep in sync, just keep nudging the one that gets out of sync into place, but then again if you knew how to do that you wouldnt be asking lol, train your ears to beat match, dont use the wave form, it will rob you of so much experience

Older music was usually made live or at least some aspect of the rhythm so the tempo would drift due to human error of playing. When mixing in older music you have to ride the pitch bend sometime fwd and backwards until the mix is done.
