each defice or different channel.

So are you saying that the 5500 is already supported with the default mapper if you have 2 devices (left & right)?

Native support only allows 1 player to be connected at this time. If two player native support is enabled, there is an option in the Denon's config to make a second controller operate on channels 3&4. Reflex currently has native support for 2 HS5500s, hopefully we will too soon. Right now I am more concerned about having better platter functionality...
