Hello,
I use VDj for Karaoke.
I created a virtual folder with all my karaoke songs copied inside.
Now I would like to print a songbook with the content of this folder.
Are there any plugin's available to do this job?
Thanks for help
Mike

There isn't a plug-in (yet)... however here is one solution:
Open a DOS window by opening "RUN" and typing: CMD
At the command prompt in the DOS window:
Type CD C:\ and then hit Enter.
Type dir /A/S >AllFiles.txt and then hit Enter.
This will create a text file named "AllFiles.txt" in your C:\ directory which contains a listing, by directory, of all files on your C: drive. You can modify what information is contained in the txt file by adjusting your dir command (type dir /? for help).
The contents of the AllFiles.txt file can then be imported into an Excel worksheet:
Open Excel.
Under the "Data" menu, go to Import External Data->Import Data
Select Data Source window, navigate to the C:\AllFiles.txt file and double-click on it to begin the import process.
Follow the prompts during the import to format the data.
You can modify the drive if necessary (i.e. D:\ instead of C:\)

Or my method:
Make a playlist file of the contents of your karaoke folder. Open that playlist in Winamp, and use the "generate html playlist" option, which creates an html page in explorer with a song listing. You can then copy and paste this into Word or whatever (you may need to change the text colour to read it, I think it's white by default!)...

Since the database is in XML format, exporting it to a viewable format is extremely easy :)
