Topic: Total Control + Creative Xmod soundcard=?

Im using VDJ5.0.7 and Total Control. But I have problem is
There some noise ( distortion) appear while playing a track (good quality). Especially, when using faders.
Im using USB soundcard Creative Xmod for Master, and laptop's soundcard for headphone. Im sure the Xmod very good ( i mean its not broken or a old one).
How I can get clean sound?
Why There are static noise when turning dials or using the faders?
Do i have to buy Ground Loop Isolator http://www.radioshack.com/sm-buy-the-ground-loop-isolator-on-http-wwwradioshackcom--pi-2062214.html

I would advise you to go into the Xmod control pannel and increase the latency setting , this card is more of a gamers card than a DJ card however.

You may need to use Asio4all to replace the default driver , you would choose :

Inputs : none
Outputs : headphones
Card : asio
driver : asio4all

Press Advanced and enable the xmod as the card you can then adjust the latency until it no longer drops out.

I will increase the latency setting and check it out tonight.
Beside this, My friend uses the Hercules control. And he has the same noise when mixing (like I got), even we set ASIO already.
So what yr recomendations?
 
how do you get both sound cards to work with aiso driver
