that was my point, if those are even shipped to you. My understanding is that the colored vinyls are no longer being made (for the time being)
 
lol now i have to go into POKEMON mode now...GOTTA CAT EM ALL>..before it goes away..lol
 
I'm afraid they almost all have... look to the ebay bandits if you really want colors and go broke :)
 
Good afternoon gentlemen. I have been very busy with the new business, and my daughters wedding. I have not been able to beta test and have not even got the new version yet. I kept up with the VIP forums, so I would not be totally in the dark. I thought I would read this whole thread first to get a feel of the success of the new update. I must admit, I was not surprised at the constant crying. It was immediate and heavy. The nitpicking is endless. My shoes got wet from all the tears on the floor. Hey, this is not my forum, and you are allowed to cry your little eyes out. I am also allowed to say how pathetic, selfish, ungrateful, and unprofessional I and others, think it is. I am also thankful to the grownups, that stepped up to the plate, and kept this thread from becoming a total cry fest. You guys know who you are, so I will not mention you by name, plus I don't want to leave anyone out. I will mention Chuck, because he bought a smile to my face, several times, as usual.

By the way, when is the next version gonna be released, you lazy bastards?


Oh, I almost forgot. Never, never, never be involved with your daughters wedding. It went well, but that's another thread.

Actually cstoll it was start/program files/virtual dj/user guide (I think manuel was the guy who owns the 24 hour Filibertos Taco Stand I ate at after the club last night)...........all kidding aside, thanks pointing me int he right direction

Dlls are not enough because Windows need data in its registry


When I did this I got a Windows message that said this may cause Windows to become unstable and to insert my Service Pack 3 CD to uninstall it. I just auto updated windows which is where I got SP3 from.

Should I be concerned???

Used 5.1 for my gig tonight (6 hours) and it was solid as a rock.

The new bpm engine is like a zillion times better than the old one and I thought that was pretty good. Also dont know if this was changed but it seemed to me tonight that the autogain worked alot better too. In fact the level meters on the internal mixer skin seemed to peak much higher than they used to do....or maybe I have just drunk too much ouzo.

Great update, really pleased with it.

Great update, came just in time when I just bought my hercules mk2 and had major crackiling sound with 5.07, amazingly its now working perfect in 5.1, and video much smoother. Yes you have superceeded my expectations this time, wonder if you have now fixed the karaoke zip decode......mhhh nope not yet, ok i`ll be constructive then how about a external plugin to allow you to you the winamp cdg decoder or something...

i saw in a post above a mpg4 codec to be able use the new record feature for video mixing.

does anyone can help finding a working codec for vista 32 ?

The more I play with the 5.1 the more I like it. I too am seeing higher levels in the meters. Also noticing the bottom end just seeming tighter than before. I don't have to tweak the EQ to prevent the 1930 watt sub from popping.
 
yes the gain engine was refined. And the vue meters are not a result of the gain engine refinements, it just a more accurate representation of the gain's level as to give more realistic VUE meters
 
Definitely I love v5.1 upgrade, low cpu usage,the bpm is so great,the sound have improved,I really love this one.Excellent work VDJ Team,next gig I am going to, down here in Jamaica I will be showing-off on my serato friends.Most of all I must say it's great to buy a software that is always improving,there is no limits when it comes to VDJ software.Thanks again Team,respect due.
