wats the best way to edit songs on virtual dj so tht it can be radio friendly or for school dances

The "best way" Is to buy radio edited songs. Unfortunately I have yet to find an easy solution to editing music on the fly.
 
i do buy edited music im in mixshowtools dj pool but their r sum songs tht u kno local artist have that the student like and i need to edit them my self so theirs nothingu can recommend trying??
 
U can try re-recording the song with VDJ before the show, and run a quick back-spin over the curse words.
Takes some time but I've done it a few times and done it live a few times when caught unprepared.
Also could be done with some editing software.
 
I would say do the edit yourself. It either be fun or tedious depending on how you look at it. I've had to do the same thing for radio mixes because some explicit songs do not have clean versions. You can use your favorite audio editing program and highlight the waveform corresponding to the "bad word(s)" and reverse it.
 
best way is to pre-record the song with the instrumental if you have it and do it yourself, or you can use 'bleep' by using reverse effect, just set left and right keys on the keyboard as skip 1 beat, and skip -1 beat, and before the swear, press skip 1 & reverse, then unselect reverse, and skip -1 beat back, it works every time

if you do all the edits , some of 'em sound like an old pinball game, lol
