I have recently just had the Hercules Console MK2 with the bundled VDJ 3. My only gripe is using the jog whilst in scratch mode. Releasing the jog wheel gives a noticeable delay (stutter) before resuming the song- takes me back to using belt drive decks!
Is there any tweaks / methods of improving this? I have the default settings which appear to match the settings in "General DJC MK2 notes".
I also tried it on my friends VDJ V5 with the same response times.

When scratching on the MK2 jogs, if the wheel moves at all when released, it causes the "stutter" that you speak of. The wheel must be absolutely still when released. It takes a lot of practice, but it is possible ;)
