How can I make a song lose its vocals and just leave the beat or make a song lose its beat and leave the vocals, because im really interested in mixing that way by switching up the beats on songs and vocals on songs like the demonstration from Dj Larry D.

I've been wondering the exact same thing. I go into guitar centers and samashes, and they can't give me any advice. I hear DJ's do it on the radio all the time, but people look at you like what the hell when u ask them about it. Let me know if you find out anything.
