Ive composed a short video showcasing the potential of dj controllers using virtual dj & the Ion i cue .I wanted to focus on the stability & precision of the software when performing live tricks using the jog wheels like a regular turntable.

I think the software needs an option to regulate the jog wheel range & also the alter sound frame resolution to compensate, as many jog wheels do not share the same characteristics. .... This is the main reason why i couldn't perform fast accurate scratching.
Many people have emailed me in response to this video. It seems many people do not realize that you need 4
outputs for mixing & cueing in stereo but most entry users will only have a 2 channel audio card & minimal technical knowledge.
But you could mix and monitor in mono...
Id like to see an audition mode enabling you to split a stereo channel into two signals then beginners can use one channel for monitoring and the other for mixing when routed to an external mixer.
