I got a great plugin in mind but I need to know is there a a getinfo() for the speed of each record?

Yes there is always something: the SDK is very powerfull
you have one query "Angle" which returns the angulation of the record (between 0 and 1)
=> plugins: TCVScratch, VideoScratch, ScratchVideoCube
but you have queries like "PlayPos" or "BeatPos" that you can use too
=> plugins: Boom_Auto, ShakerSquare,
