I have a 'Audgy Soundblaster 24Bit 5.1 Sound Card' and plugged into there are my 'Red, Yellow & Black' cables that leed to my base box (Philips 5.1 PC400 Surround Sound).
I have the 3 cables plugged into the back of the basebox along with the 2 front speakers and 2 rear speakers and the center speaker (All jacks filled up on base box)
Now, my question is how can i hear the next song comming in? I want to keep my 5.1 surrond working but also hear the next cue?
(I've added a diagram for help)
or could anyone suggest a reasonable priced £30 - £40 MAX sound card.

I was thinking maybe a 7.1 sound card would work?

if your not running asio or not planning on tcv's you could pickup any cheap sound card just for the headphones and assing it in the config menu
as the 2 cards setting and you could choose which is for headphones and wich is for your soundsystem.
will not conflict with the setup you have now if you do not run in asio mode
