I am using VDJ 4.2 (djjc Advange Default skin, it is so good that I have not upgrade yet) with a Tablet PC and Hercules DJ Console 1 with reversed Volume-Pitch setting. (i.e. fader as volume, knob as pith-control.)
I use External Mixer during my gag...but not during practice at home.
For practicin at home, I just plug 2 monitor-speakers straight to the HDJC because there is no space. I practice on top of my son's piano.
For reasons I can't use VDJ's Autogain feature happily so I abandonned it.
For reasons I know VDJ's volume bars in skin are not real volume (power).
I do not want to discuss the above two points in this thread.
When I practise with my playlist, I have to "read" the volume of each songs and note it in the "Comment" field. (ex. 6.5 for track 1, 7.8 for track 2, etc...)
Since HDJC has No Volume Indicator, I have to connect to either a Mixer or Cassette Deck recorder just to use their Volume Indicator which is clumsy and I have no space for them since I practice on top of my son's piano.
I would like to ask
Is there any Small External Software that can use together with VDJ just to Show Output Volume Bar.
I tried Window's recorder without success.
Any suggestions for volume indicators use together with VDJ ?
