Topic: Your favorite Video Editing Software

Wich one is your favorite video editing software (for edit: coping, pasting, add transactions, text, pics, and effects)?

Im currently using Pinnacle Stidio 9. Is very easy to use, but cant edit .VOB files (dont know if the new version does).
I personally dont like Adobe´s because the price and it is a little complicated for me.

Well if you don't like Adobe then you're really not going to like my favorite. Final Cut Studio being the first recomendation and Sony Vegas being second.

Vegas Video without a doubt.

Try renaming the .vob to .mpg then try importing.

I just got the Sony movie studio + DVD... is this any good?
 
it will get u started....i dunno how limited it is vs vegas....but i know it has the same basic interface.
 
Vegas. Sony Movie Studio is a stripped down version of Vegas. Still good if you don't get into the nitty gritty stuff.

Another vote for Vegas here. I'm on the older version 6, but you can do tons of stuff with it and get tons of rendering options, both audio and video;^]

Final Cut Studio is hands down the winner for best full featured professional editing suite.

Final Cut Express HD is easily the best consumer solution you can purchase.

iMovie is by far the easiest and best featured "free" (bundled) solution as part of the iLife suite that comes with every Mac.

All by Apple. Only on Macs.

Sorry windows users. ;)

If I had to use a windows only computer though (why?), I guess I'd go with good old Adobe Premiere + After Effects combo.

Yo Twiz- I'm meeting up with Ice for dinner tomorrow and to get him all set up with Virtual Vinyl ahead of the upcoming release of Virtual Vinyl 5.0 Mac. Anything you need me to tell him?

BTW, even though you have the unfortunate dis-pleasure of using use movie maker - j/k ... ;) - , your video mash-ups ROCK! =D
